Question by Jay T: Have you heard anything about the Republican National Committee “Census” questionaire?
My friend got a copy in the mail and she immediately decided that she was no longer a Republican… ever again…

Supposedly, it’s full of all these push-polling questions that you can only answer one way and it’s totally offensive to moderates and “thinking people” because all the questions are just obvious lies and propaganda disguised as “questions”.

Michael Steele sent out this schizophrenic letter with it that proves he’s completely delusional…

Has anyone else seen this document?

Should I scan it and link to a copy of it?

Best answer:

Answer by Louis S
I’m more troubled by the $ $ $ Millions of Dollars funneled into ACORN by the present administration, to support their handling of the census, when they are presently under investigation in several states for voter fraud.

What do you think? Answer below!

Bronx, NY (PRWEB) December 09, 2011

Kathy Landi Larson Zamechansky, President of KZA Realty Group, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate firm specializing in the New York City and Westchester County markets, was among four Italian-Americans recently honored by Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr., The Belmont Business Improvement District, and The Italian Heritage and Culture Committee of New York. The ceremony took place at the Enrico Fermi Cultural Center in the Belmont Library in the Bronx.

After reading a proclamation declaring October 2011 as ?Italian Heritage and Culture Month,? in celebration of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy, Diaz awarded Zamechansky with a plaque for her meritorious service as an Italian-American to the people of New York. Also honored were Joseph ?Jay? Savino, Chairman of the Bronx Republican Party; Joseph Migliulucci, owner of Mario?s Restaurant; and Joseph ?Joe? Liberatore, a posthumous tribute accepted by his son, Richard.

Opera tenor Christopher Macchio beautifully belted out the American and Italian national anthems, while singer Gaetano Fava sang many favorite Italian songs. Guests of the ceremony were treated to fine Italian food from many local restaurants, including Enzo?s Restaurant, Antonio?s Restaurant, Mario?s Restaurant, Giantina?s Restaurant, Casa Della Mozzarella, Gino?s Pastry Shop, Artuso?s Pastry, and Addeo Bakery.

Zamechansky stems from a long line of hard working Italian-Americans. Her maternal grandfather was Orazio Landi, who arrived in New York in 1895. Her maternal grandmother, Catherine Cucii, also settled in New York in 1903. Both traveled to this country from Messina, Italy and were processed at Ellis Island. Her grandfather was a small homes builder in Ozone Park, Queens for many years. Ms. Zamechansky’s mother is Mrs. Victoria Landi, who was also born and raised in Queens.

?I?m so privileged to be recognized during this, the 34th Annual Italian-American Heritage Month,? Zamechansky said. ?I?m so proud to have been doing business in New York City and Westchester for over 35 years. After all, this is my home. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and have called The Bronx my home for over 40 years. I?m proud to live and work here, and I?m very proud of my Italian heritage. I?m truly grateful for this honor.?

Zamechansky specifically has extensive experience in working with real estate developers, non-profit organizations, as well as retail and office development in the five boroughs of New York City. Ms. Zamechansky founded KZA Realty Group in 1998. Until recently, she also worked as the Executive Vice President of NAI Friedland Realty and Partner in KZA/Friedland Development Consulting Services, a full-service real estate consulting firm, since 2004.

Ms. Zamechansky is a member of several community and business organizations in the Bronx and Harlem, including the Board of Directors of the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation, Board of Governors of the Bronx, the Manhattan Board of Realtors, the Board of Directors of the New Bronx Chamber of Commerce, the Harlem Business Alliance and the Advisory Board for the Fund for the Future Women Leaders of the Bronx. In 2009, she was named one of the 25 Most Influential Women by The Bronx Times Reporter and was awarded the Realtor of the Year by the Manhattan North Association of Realtors (BMAR).

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) October 25, 2011

The Super Committee can meet its immediate goal of $ 1.2 trillion in deficit reduction while putting in place policy changes that will improve the Medicare and Medicaid programs over time, according to a new Galen Institute study.

?Entitlement spending, particularly Medicare and Medicaid, clearly is the driver of exploding federal budget deficits, and it continues to present the biggest political dilemma,? said Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute. ?Yet if legislators fail to address entitlement spending, it will be a guarantee of failure.?

Turner?s paper, entitled ?Build on successes and take the long view of reform as a process,? offers a concise list of do?s and don?ts for the Super Committee. Many of the policy ideas have bi-partisan support, such as gradually increasing the eligibility age for Medicare, improving the care delivery system for patients with chronic illnesses, reducing outmoded hospital regulations, and modifying the deductible for Part B of Medicare.

Turner also offered a list of proposals before the Super Committee that should be avoided because they would exacerbate rather than help resolve problems. Turner recommends Super Committee members reject proposals that would target drug spending for lower-income seniors enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid, proposals to expand the power of the Independent Payment Advisory Board, and expanding the mis-named ?competitive bidding program? that would lead to supply disruptions and higher prices with durable medical equipment for Medicare patients.

?The real solutions to entitlement spending will come when we turn away from Washington?s fatally flawed, micromanagement of federal health programs and turn toward competitive markets that give consumers more power to make efficient, economical choices,? Turner concludes.

The Galen Institute is a non-profit research organization that specializes in health policy. Turner is also a co-author of Why ObamaCare Is Wrong for America (Broadside/HarperCollins, 2011)

The Galen Institute is a non-profit public policy research organization devoted exclusively to advancing free-market ideas in health policy. Founded in 1995, the organization promotes a more informed public debate over ideas that support innovation, individual freedom, consumer choice, and competition in the health sector.
