The Maturing of the Democratic Process: Resolved: The American public is now just as capable of voting on the competing Democratic and Republican ... bills, as voting on the competing candidates

Leadership of both parties now realize that any candidate having chosen to run hurts their party’s chances of winning. In a government by metaphor: Air Force One is now in a deep spiraling dive, which will end only when President Bush’s People’s Bank of China credit card maxes out. At that point all the jobs will come back with a vengeance. The Emergency Spin Recovery Procedure detailed in this report is designed to mediate between the competing enemy forces, and thereby avert the rest

Question by ehwrealdeal: Why are Republicans the “war party” when Democratic Presidents actually have started more wars?
1.Mexican-American War= Polk, Democrat
2.Civil War=Lincoln, Republican
3. Spanish-American War= McKinley, Republican
4. World War I= Wilson, Democrat
5. World War II= Roosevelt, Democrat
6. Korea= Truman, Democrat (apparently WWII atomic bomb wasn’t enough for him eh?)
7. Vietnam= Kennedy, Democrat (took a Republican Nixon to end it.)
8. Desert Storm= Bush I, Republican
9. War on Terror= Bush II, Republican

Gets a bit worse for the Dems when one compares American soldiers lost in Democratic wars to Republican wars. If you forget, it’s millions to mere thousands. Does the GOP truly deserve the “war party” status? I think you need to think again!

Sh*t My Vice-President Says: With Bonus Material from the Obama White House, Democratic Congress, and Other Special Friends!

“Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me.” But would she have given us so many priceless verbal gaffes? George W. Bush has left the White House, but Vice President Joe Biden continues his hilarious legacy of memorable misstatements and spoken-word screw-ups. “Look, John (McCain)’s last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number one job facing the m

Question by A J: Is “Democratic” Underground the most ignorant website on the Internet?
I mean, I know they can be like that, considering how ignorant the Internet’s inventor himself was in the first place, but really. People who want to REDUCE the reach of the government are fascists, both the major parties are right-wing reactionaries, and they reference leftist, totalitarian websites called “Down With Tyranny.” (I find this hilarious, since the regressive left is itself the #1 promoter of tyranny). Am I right?
